Un-Civil Dragons
The summer of 2017 will be the 14th year for the Un-Civil Dragons (previously known as Dragonflies)
This team will especially appeal to paddlers looking for more racing opportunities and those with some paddling experience. Individuals of all fitness and skill levels, however, are welcome!
ANYONE CAN JOIN THIS TEAM.
NO EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY!
Cost:
- $170 for first-half (7 practices and Waterfest)
- $195 for second-half (7 practices and GWN)
- $325 for full season (if sign up for both first- and second-half together -- save $40!)
Practice schedule: Tuesdays 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm in first-half, 7-8pm in second-half (14 practices total)
Dry-land practice: Tuesday, May 16
First on-water practice: Tuesday, May 23
Last practice: Tuesday, September 5
Breaks: There will be no practices on July 11 and 18

Help us recruit! The club is committed to making programs financially accessible to people and this program, like all others is done on a cost recovery basis.
Practice Cancellations:
Practices are NEVER CANCELLED due to weather PRIOR to arrival at the docks. Rain usually passes quickly and every practice is important to race preparations. For safety we never paddle on the water when lightning is in the area (decision is made at the dock).
The Un-Civil Dragons have the following regattas this season:
1. Waterfest (Hamilton) - Saturday, July 8
Location: Harbour Front Dr. Bayfront Park, Hamilton, Ontario
2. GWN Dragon Boat Challenge (Toronto, 2 days) - Saturday, September 9 and Sunday, September 10
